Dr. C Shane Flaviano

Chief Medical Officer, Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital and Physician Informaticist, CommonSpirit Health, Nevada Market.

With more than 35 years in health care, Dr. Flaviano is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Flaviano received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the East. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency, and Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Flaviano served as past Chair of the board of directors of St Rose Quality Care Network CIN/ACO, a Dignity Health Member. He has been a medical director for several institutions in the Southern Nevada Area. Earlier in his career, he was the enterprise clinical information systems liaison at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, an attending physiatrist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and a faculty member of Northwestern University Medical School.
