Jeffrey Murawsky, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Murawsky is the Chief Medical Officer of Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he provides physician leadership for the integration and operation medical staff services of over 700 medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatient beds, outpatient diagnostics services and surgical centers.
Prior to joining Sunrise Hospital, Dr. Murawsky was the Regional Chief Executive Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Great Lakes, and Chief Medical Officer for the VA Great Lakes Network. Before joining the Veterans’ Administration, he was the director of community based teaching for the Loyola University Health System and the medical director of the Loyola/Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Center in suburban Chicago.
Dr. Murawsky is a native of DeKalb, Illinois and received a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and received his Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois in 1994. Dr. Murawsky is board certified in internal medicine and a published author in health services research.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In 2016, Jeffrey was appointed to the Nevada Board of Health by Governor Brian Sandoval.
