Jim Willis

Serving in healthcare technology for over 20 years, Jim now leads the interoperability initiatives for CommonSpirit Health (formerly Dignity Health) spanning 140 hospital communities in 21 states across the nation.

Jim’s technology background began with Accenture in Kansas City before working as an Engagement Leader for Cerner Corporation leading healthcare technology efforts for numerous hospitals across the country. His passion for his work led him to relocate to Phoenix, AZ where he joined the Dignity Health leadership team in 2004 using his talents for implementation efforts across 40 hospitals in California, Arizona and Nevada.

Since 2010, Jim has helped drive successful outcomes for Dignity Health’s interoperability and Health Information Exchange efforts connecting thousands of providers and enabling improved patient care. Mr. Willis received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Arizona State University and is active in his community volunteering time to numerous organizations, including the Make-A-Wish foundation.
