Rachel Papka

Rachel Papka joined the Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) executive team in 2017. Her role as chief health informatics officer at SDMI is to observe workflow, gather staff input and brainstorm new ideas to decrease inefficiencies and streamline processes.

Ms. Papka’s experience in health care information technology stems from oversight of the health information exchange (HIE) and many years involved with health systems.

Before coming to SDMI, she worked at HealthInsight Nevada as the HIE manager and at Universal Health Services Inc. as a project lead, clinic manager and IT coordinator. Her education background includes a master’s degree in health care administration and informatics and bachelor’s degree in business management.
