Jessica Hensler

Jessica Hensler is Associate Administrator for the Valley Health System and has been with Universal Health Services for six years. She has more than fifteen years of professional experience that includes healthcare, marketing, advertising, project management, architecture, and lean six sigma. Jessica spent two and a half years as Associate/Assistant Administrator at Desert Springs Hospital, during which time, she oversaw several departments, including Rehab, EVS, Dietary, Security, Therapies, Plant Operations, Cath Lab, GI Lab, and Pharmacy. In addition, Jessica has led the Clinical Quality/Lean Improvement and Employee Engagement teams, oversaw the Capital Budget, and assisted with daily management of staffing.

Prior to Jessica’s time at Desert Springs, she spent three years as a member of the corporate Performance and Process Improvement team. During this time, she was part of the Emergency Department Capacity Management Initiative, managed the initial Meaningful Use effort, and assisted with the development of PPI toolkits.

Prior to healthcare, Jessica spent more than nine years in marketing and advertising. Jessica earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
