Kimball S. Anderson

CEO Southern Hills Hospital

Kim has been the CEO of Southern Hills Hospital since December, 2009. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Timpanogos Regional and Mountain View Hospitals in Utah for 12 years. He joined the HCA family of hospitals in 1988 as the Directory of Dietary at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah.

His education credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Colorado. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Kim has been involved in his community as a member of his local Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club. He has been involved in the City Youth Council, School District Foundation Board, and Boy Scouts of America. He is currently a member of the advisory board of the West Technical Career Academy in Las Vegas. He also serves a member of the Nevada Hospital Associate Board of Directors.

Kim has also ensured that Southern Hills Hospital is a dedicated community member by creating and implementing new programs and events at the hospital. These include the High School to Healthcare program (local high school medical students learning about the healthcare industry) and the Las Vegas Balloon Festival (a three day, hot air balloon community event benefiting the Las Vegas Metro Police Department’s non-profit Search and Rescue Team).

Kim’s commitment to the Southern Hills Hospital team and the community is evidenced by his 2012 March of Dimes Award for ‘Administration – Nurses’ Choice,’ when he was named the top hospital CEO in Southern Nevada.

Kim and his wife, Sheila are the parents of three daughters and 10 grandchildren. In their spare time, they enjoy travelling, fishing and spending time with their family.
