President St. Rose Dominican Hospitals San Martín Campus
Vicky VanMeetren came to St. Rose Dominican Hospitals with over 28 years of experience in Healthcare Administration. As President/CEO of the San Martín Campus, she oversees the day to day operations of a 750 employee not-for-profit community hospital in southwest Las Vegas.  Under her leadership the hospital has been ranked Number 1 by U.S. News & World Report in the specialty areas of Neurology and Neurosurgery, which includes the hospital’s new headache program, and received the J.D. Power and Associates Distinguished Hospital Inpatient Service Excellence 2011 Award.  In addition, the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals are responsible for running more than 18 community outreach programs which teach preventative medicine, as well as 35 disease related support groups, some funded by grants and others from direct operations. Since joining St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Vicky has supervised the construction of the Siena Campus, (248 beds) in 2000 and the San Martín Campus (147 beds) in 2006. She is a licensed registered nurse, received a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration in 1996, and an MBA in 2005.  She enjoys the healthcare field and is involved with new service lines, physician recruitment, and is a practiced team builder. Vicky maintains active involvement in several community service organizations. She is a past chair of the Nevada Donor Network.  Currently she serves on the Board of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, heading their Healthcare Committee; Nevada State College Board of Directors; and the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board, Health Care and Medical Services Sector Council.
